I am taking part in this Race for Life event as my mum's partner, Fred Clifford was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.  He will be starting chemotherapy in a couple of weeks' time.  Fred has always been the life and soul of any party and I will be putting my life and soul into trying to raise some money for cancer research.  I hope you will sponsor me and help towards fighting this disease which affects so many people.
