Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK fund its life-saving work.

Last year I walked the shine 2014, in memory of lost loved ones especially my Grandad Bill who everyone adored, and all those inspirational people in remission or still fighting this terrible disease!  It was tough going, no sleep, sore feet, hips and legs, plenty of tears and my lovely friend was very ill (Amelia we will avoid the bins this year!)..but we kept going! We knew we had to finish as people had been so supportive and given generously helping us reach a team target

This year, as a more experienced walker and knowing what to expect I intend to beat my finish time of 10 hours!... I must be mad but it is worth every blister if it means a little more money is raised to support Cancer Research UK.  I feel proud to be taking part again!
