Maggie battled Leukemia from the age of 11 but lost her fight at the age of 26.

She received an amount of treatment at Christie's hospital over the years.

The fight against Childhood Leukemia has progressed since the 80's thanks to some of the trials the children of the 80's undertook including Maggie. Thanks to this many childrens lives have been saved. Therefore her passing has not gone in vain.

Anyone who knew Maggie simply adored her gentle and loving nature and admired her smile all the way through her fight with cancer.

In 15 sleeps time, I'm back on the saddle to complete the Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride which is 60 miles. The event starts at 6:30am (Manchester Utd Football ground - will be pleddling v fast!) and finishes at South Promade in Blackpool somewhere between 3-7 hours later!
