Maggie's Centres are an oasis of calm in the maelstrom that is cancer. They provide free practical, emotional and social support to all cancer patients and their families, complementing the medical treatment at the adjacent hospital in the best of ways. Everything about them is in stark contrast to those same hospitals, and they have attracted the generosity of many distinguished architects, such as Zaha Hadid, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster, to design buildings and environments that are a haven for patients. The very buildings seem to envelop visitors in a hug, let alone the warmth of the staff and the services they provide, services that are instantly accessible and the door always open. 

My mother, and we as a family, can attest to the difference Maggie's Centres make and I hope that you can join us in supporting them whilst they support others. They rely entirely on donations, and any amount you might be able to contribute would be greatly appreciated!
