Royal Parks Half Marathon

Story

On Sunday, October 8th a team from Prism Sport & Entertainment will be running our way around the scenic and historic Royal Parks half marathon in aid of The Brompton Fountain Charity. The ‘Prism Brompton Runners – Charlie's Angels’, will be made up of the elite team of Aless, Becky, Ed, Geoff, Jess, Luke, Frankie, Mia, Serge, Tor and Xav.

WHY?! ... Well,  the charity supports children's cardiac, respiratory and intensive care at the Royal Brompton Hospital  - a national specialist referral centre for complex heart and lung conditions. They provide vital resources and services, fund medical equipment, family accommodation and improvements to the facilities, while also aiming to improve the quality of life and environment for young patients in hospital and at home and make a difference when it’s needed most.

This is a cause close to the Prism team, with Tor’s 2 year old Charlie undergoing 2 life-saving heart surgeries at the Brompton in his little lifetime, and also supporting his ongoing care -  so we have a lot to thank them for!

This year, the Royal Park's marathon will be their flagship event, and our Prism team will be running alongside doctors and nurses from the intensive care unit, and being cheered on and supported by the wider Brompton community! Any donation to this amazing cause would be much appreciated. For further information on the charity or Charlie’s story please do reach out to Tor. 😊
