Story

HELP US HELP
OTHERS. IF NOTHING ELSE PLEASE READ ON

We are a group of
6 pals who enjoy cycling but most of all we want to help raise as much as we
can to help fund research in three key areas: better diagnosis, better treatments and better prevention of Prostate Cancer the 3rd
biggest cancer killer in the UK and it only affects Men!

A team of 6 of us
will ride from Barnsley to Amsterdam next year on 5th June 2020,
between us we have done this ride 10 times and raised well over 30k.

When we first set
out doing this we never realised the extent of this male only disease, please
take a minute to read the following facts

More
than 47,500 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year – that's 129 men
every day.

Every 45 minutes one man dies from
prostate cancer – that's more than 11,500 men every year.

1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with
prostate cancer in their lifetime.

In the UK around 400,000 men are living
with and after prostate cancer.

Come on let’s all
do our bit, the statistics can’t be ignored.
