This year I am running the Great North Run on September 16th and raising money for CancerCare, which is a local charity dedicated to the support of people with cancer, their families and their carers, and those bereaved by cancer.

I am sure we all know of someone who is suffering or has suffered from one of the many types of cancers and this is your chance to help make a difference in the battle against this indiscriminate disease.

My target is to raise £500, so while I am training hard plodding the streets and running up the fells please make a donation and contribute to a very worthy local cause.
