Story
I am competing in two obstacle races 22 days apart. The first is a 5km race with 15 obstacles called "The Spartan Race" the second is a 10km With 25 obstacles called "Back to the Trenches". These obstacles consist of fire-ice water- thick mud-climbing and a lot more. Typically only around 50% of people manage to complete these obstacles. The first and main reason I am putting myself through this hell is for a charity called Ataxia. Ataxia is a great charity that raises money for people that have problems with movement, balance and speech, over 10,000 people in the UK have a form of Ataxia, sadly there currently is no cure. The Second is my friend and colleague Giovanni Lo Nigro had reconstructive surgery on his Elbow and has been out of action for 6 months, personally I think he needed to man up but the surgeon thought otherwise :-) So as a goal to get Gio looking somewhat like myself I have agreed to carry him through. We are part of a team of 5 and are aiming to raise £500 each. So please dig deep into them pockets for this great cause any donations however big or small will be very much appreciated and go along way to finding a cure to this illness.
Thank You :-)
