Story

So, we're going to do something silly to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are taking part in The Longest Round, which involves playing four rounds of golf in one day.

This is seventy-two holes of a USPGA-standard golf course from 6am until whenever it is too dark to play any longer. We expect to play for around fourteen hours continuously, with no breaks for lunch/dinner and merely Mars Bars and Lucozade for comfort.

We have a 'no buggy' rule, therefore it also involves walking between sixteen and eighteen miles, depending on how far Michael batters balls into the trees.

On top of the walking, we're all a bit rubbish so expect to take quite a few shots per round. So you are not only sponsoring the blisters on our feet, but the ones on our hands too...

And it is all for a fantastic cause. Macmillian provide information, practical support and advice to the millions affected by cancer every year, so every penny of your donation will go towards funding this. All for us hoofing a golf ball up and down Theale Golf Club on Sunday 20th June 2016.

We appreciate your support and dig deep to fund our stupidity and Macmillan.

Cheers :)
