Well folks, we did it! Our first 10k. A fantastic atmosphere and I'll definitely be doing it again - Chris isn't quite so keen! Thank you everyone who has sponsored us, your kindness and generosity is very much appreciated. This page remains open for donations for three months for anyone else that would like to give a little to Alzheimer's Society and we'll add up the offline sponsorship later in the week. Sophie x

We are doing the British 10K Run on Sunday 8th July to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Most of you will know someone who has been affected by Alzheimer's Disease and will know what a devastating disease it is for the person living with it and their loved ones.

Chris's dad John Leggett was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 58 and was just 61 when he died.

My mum Gillian Ward was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 49 and died in January aged just 57.
