Event: Liverpool-London 25th Anniversary Trek, from 7 August 2022 to 19 August 2022
Our 25th year celebration trek - Each day a team of 20 trekkers will be walking a stretch of the 270-mile journey from Liverpool, the birthplace of Caring Matters Now, to London, where the ground-breaking CMN research lab and patient clinic is based.

Story

I will be walking with my Mum and Dad - Diane and Rob! We are trekking on day 5 and 6 of the Liverpool to London 25th Anniversary Trek! We will be walking 44 miles in total, from Rugley to Bedworth.

A team of supporters, trustees and staff members are going to trek the 25-year journey of Caring Matters Now. Each day a team of 20 trekkers will be walking a stretch of the 270-mile journey from Liverpool, the birthplace of Caring Matters Now, to London, where the ground-breaking CMN research lab and patient clinic is based. The journey will begin at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, followed by 12 days of trekking through the most beautiful countryside, ending our final day walking through the great capital city of London to the finish line at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. We are doing this to celebrate 25 years of Caring Matters Now, to raise awareness of Congenital Melanocytic Naevi, and to raise funds to support families and further research.
