The 100 challenge
In memory of Sonny Robbins and to support Demelza hospice Eltham during the Covid19 crisis.
Due to the Corona crisis Demelza has had to sadly close all of their charity shops, they have had to cancel all fundraising events and have already seen a huge decline in direct giving.
Demelza will go on for us long as their reserves of money hold out, which will hopefully be the duration of the crisis. If they cannot make up the shortfall, this will have an impact on the families they are supporting during this crisis, and in the long term. Demelza only receives a small amount of government funding, nowhere near enough, so fundraising is essential for them to be able to give children and families the care they need.
As a family who have witnessed the incredible work they do we have to try and help. And we need your help.
We will be hosting the ‘THE 100 CHALLENGE’
We need 100 of you to take part, The aim is to raise £10,000 for the Eltham Hospice. Spreading the target as wide as we can, asking 100 people to commit to raising £100 each by doing a sponsored activity for one hour. You can choose any activity you like; run around the park dressed in fancy dress, ride your exercise bike, stair-climb challenge, flip a pancake for an hour, 100 basketball hoops in an hour, three legged race around your garden. We will be sending a list of suggestions, but anything goes.
The fundraising challenge:
100 people commit to raising £100 each.
This is only x10 donations of £10 from your wider family & friends network.
100 people raising £100 each = £10,000
Once we have 100 participants signed-up, we will confirm a date for us all to do our challenges, ensuring we give you enough time to raise your £100 sponsorship.
We will host the day on an open Zoom link from 8am to 8pm live online - or you can send pictures or videos.
If you would like to help please let us know by contacting one of the family or emailing Kevin @ D100challenge@gmail.com
Thank you, all the Robbins lot.
