A team from The Insurance Emporium is taking part in the Micklegate Run Soapbox Challenge and raising money for the excellent charity, Canine Partners. We’ll be pushing our very own soapbox racer down a six-metre ramp and over a variety of obstacles in hopes of getting the fastest time. If that’s not scary enough, we’ll be doing it in front of a crowd of 20,000 people!

Canine Partners helps to change the lives of people with physical disabilities, by partnering them with specially-trained dogs that offer security, companionship and help with household tasks. These dogs can also help to raise their owners’ self-esteem and help them to feel more confident and independent.
