Alright you lovelies....We are fundraising, first time in a wee while but hoping to make it a biggie as the cause is a cracker. The Macmillan longest day golf challenge involves playing 72 holes of golf in a day, the 4 of us can barely manage 9 between us these days so it will be a challenge, albeit I concede it will be fun! There are 4 golfing heroes taking part, Damien (Happy) Gilmore, Steven (Bassie) Roberts Mark (Mr Wells) Wells and Ryan (sounds like a proper golfer) Campbell
We will cover over 17 miles with clubs on our backs and many many many swings of the golf club made!!!!
We are attempting to achieve this feat of golfing excellence at Taymouth Castle Golf Course who have allowed us exclusive use of the course on the day (19 June 2016) free of charge so we don't divert any funds to green fees. The course has just been redesigned by Stephen Gallagher and is a toughie, there might be a book run on who loses the most balls!
The cause is worthy so the target is hefty, we want to raise £1,000 (this might increase) so dig deep, release the moths and go large, remember.....
......'It's all in the hips...it's all in the hips....'
Thanks so much for anything at all you can donate, we are planning one or two things in the interim to raise additional funds so watch this space
