Story

My hair. There’s a lot of it. And I bloody love it.  So I have decided the time has come to do a sponsored hair cut and donate it to the Little Princess Trust.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the charity, they
make wigs for children who are suffering from hair loss due to cancer or other illnesses. A link to their website can be found below if you want to find out more.

I’ve decided to set up this funding page to raise money for
Cancer Research UK. I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer in September – a  shocking and horrific experience for anyone, let alone someone who is only 31. So, full disclosure, I will probably lose my hair during chemo treatment anyway but I thought this would be a good way to raise some money to help find a cure so people in the future will not have to go though all this. And it will hopefully make my experience a bit more positive too.

I know it is close to Christmas and money is tight, but if you are able to donate just 50p or a pound – that’s less than the price of a cup of mulled wine or a drink in crew bar! – then, well, I would be super chuffed. Anything you can give, big or small, will mean a huge amount to Cancer Research UK. Also with you guys behind me I can’t chicken out.

So no Christmas presents necessary this year, just your
support and a possible donation would be amazing. Thank you!
