Story

“My mentor helps me a lot. If you are angry, she calms you down. Me and her have lots of talks about things"

After another challenging year our young people and their families need us now more than ever so the Grapes Crew will be taking to the water in the 2022 Dragon Boat Race and are looking for your donations to help provide mentoring for local young people in need .

Mentoring sessions help young people with their anxiety, confidence, with engagement at school, challenges within their families and with mental health and wellbeing. Recognising each young person is different ensures that mentoring sessions are tailored to suit their needs, experience new things and make new connections in their community.

As a charity Mentoring Plus has been unable to hold community events over the past two years and funds raised in the 2022 Dragon Boat Race are vital to their continuing work.

Please do what you can to support their work. You can see more about the work of the charity by going to www.mentoringplus.net
