Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Grafters Club is a club for children and their families in the North East and Cumbria who have experienced a burn injury. The name was chosen by members of The Grafters Club. The young people chose well as there is not only the word association with skin grafts, a 'grafter' is also someone who works hard. Children and their families who have experienced a burn injury not only work hard during the healing time but at their rehabilitation too.

The Grafters Club arranges trips away and other activities for children and their families. This is often the only opportunity that children and families can meet and share their experiences. This is an important part of their rehabilitation.

All our trips and activities rely upon charitable donations from individuals or companies. For further details about the club and our events please visit www.thegraftersclub.org.uk. If you would like to organise a fundraising event on our behalf, we'd love to hear from you. Please email our fundraising team on charity.matters@nuth.nhs.uk or telephone 0191 213 7235.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
