Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

A lot of you know my medical history, for those that don't, the short version is, about 4 years ago: endocarditis, 3 strokes, brain aneurysm, metal rings by my brain, carbon fibre heart valve and slightly dead twice (check me out on facebook, the photos of op are there!).  The upshot of this is that I made a fantastic recovery and want to raise money for people not as fortunate as me.  This is why I'm taking part in the Nike+ Human Race ( http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/humanrace/index.jsp ) for the 'Get Kids Going' charity, representing England at Wembley Stadium in the biggest 10k run of it's kind EVER!  1 million people in 25 cities worldwide will be running at the same time for good causes. The event is to be televised by Channel 5 and Sky Sports 1,2,3&4! (see if you can spot me in the crowd; I'll be the tall bloke with glasses in a red Nike shirt!).  Please give whatever you can to help disabled children get involved in sporting activities they might not otherwise get a chance to.

 Thanks,  Nick x
