Story
Elisabeth was taken seriously ill with seizures in June 2018. She spent 10 days in ITU and, following a series of tests, was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Elisabeth was admitted to ITU again in September 2018 - when she should have been starting her new Sixth Form College. She has had seizures almost every three months since and been hospitalised on many occasions. She now takes 20 tablets daily to prevent further seizures. Elisabeth was unable to attend full time college but is determined to continue with her studies so is now studying online at home.
Elisabeth has been supported by Jeanenne from Young Epilepsy, and is now one of their Young Reps - working to make a difference to young people and families living with epilepsy. Jeanenne has helped her to understand and accept her diagnosis, gaining some confidence and independence back.

We are supporting Purple Day on March 26th by taking part in 26 miles in 26 days - completing a mile a day in our own way. Tony will be rowing, Louise and Charlotte will be running, Elisabeth, Sophie and even Bruce (our sausage dog!) will be walking!
Please support us to raise funds to ensure more young people receive the positive support they need.
