On our recent trip to Sri Lanka, we were overwhelmed by the amount of dogs lying on the roads and streets. Some of them looking hungry and scared but most of them were looking to be loved. As you know from our videos, we are big animal lovers and were touched by the sight of so many abandoned doggies.

When we found out about Animal SOS Sri Lanka, we immediately scheduled a visit and really connected with their mission:

* to provide veterinary care and rehabilitation

* taking in ALL the dogs and cats, they don't turn any of them away

* to stabilize the stray dog & cat population through spay/neutering programs

This rescue center has over 2000!!! dogs and cats and many unpaid volunteers who are dedicating all of their time to the project. We were lucky to met with Lucie who's been working there for over a year and who explained to us the seriousness of the situation. Please consider donating, any amount counts. Our goal is $500.
