On 21 May 2023, I'll be taking part in the Great West Run, in aid of Hospicare . 

I’ve never run more than 10k ( 16 years ago !) and my endurance sport has all been completed sitting down on my bike . So , running a half marathon will be a massive challenge for me. 

I’ve been inspired to join my LED Leisure team mates , who are runners and quite a bit younger ! To support this brilliant cause .

Quite literally. Hospiscare is a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer specialist palliative care, to ensure that patients can make the most of the time they have left. Hospiscare are a vital part of the local healthcare system and as a charity, they rely on donations to keep their services going. I know the past couple of years have been hard for everyone, but I want to help ensure Hospiscare can continue to be there for the community now and in the future.
