Story

Local Kart racing prodigy Daniel Gale (13) after hearing of the Demelza Charities ongoing need for funds to help towards Hospice Care for children decided to help raise awareness and sponsors by undertaking a 500 lap marathon around the Bayford Meadows Karting track in Sittingbourne, Kent, which will take place on the 25th July 2017 between 11.00am & 5.00pm, to which everyone is welcome.

Daniel started racing aged eight after being inspired by, among others, racing legend Ayrton Senna and multi F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, emulating both their drive and enthusiasm for the sport.

Having recently gained experience and some acclaim on karting circuits in Italy he returned to Kent putting some of his new found skills into practice and currently holds the lap record at three of Kents premier Karting tracks, Bayford Meadows, Buckmore Park and Lydd which he can now add to his many other successes.

We sincerely hope you will be able to help Daniel in his Marathon quest to support Demelza Hospice for children, which is totally self funded, allowing 100% of any donation you feel able to make going directly to the charity itself.
