After nine full marathons I said that if I ran another marathon it would have to be for a special reason. Well, here I am to tell you that I am ready to run my 10th marathon at the London Marathon in April 2023 in honor of and in service to Rays of Sunshine, an organization with the goal of filling the lives of seriously ill children in the UK with pockets of sunshine and moments of joy. 

As someone who is always looking for reasons to elevate the meaning of her miles and lives by the "Because I can" motto, I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to run for something greater than myself and to tackle the ever-humbling 26.2-mile distance. If I can spread more sunshine to others, I will. If I can do that through running, I will. 

I hope you'll support me on this journey to the London Marathon start line. The miles over the next few months will matter more because of you.
