The CLAN Girls Relay Team

Edinburgh Marathon 25th May 2008

We finished in 4 hours 35 minutes and 54 seconds!

We had a last minute set back when Wendy had her tonsils out the Monday before the race, but Pat managed to find a substitue - Sarah who ran the last leg of the race. The start of the day was extremely cold and very windy - the first 2 legs were straight into the head wind - not very good conditions for waiting around! But as you can see from the picture the sun came out about mid-day and it was glorious.

Earlier in March CLAN launched its new 1 - 2 - 3 Campaign - One charity, has two years to raise £3million. CLAN's challenge over the next two years is to raise £3M to build our new cancer support centre in Aberdeen.
