Story
At CitySprint we are dedicated to making a positive difference to the people and communities we serve and work in. CitySprint has over 30 sites across the UK, and that’s over 30 different communities that we’re a part of. That's why we have a number of initiatives in place, from partnering with charities such as Crisis and The Trussell Trust, to sponsoring our colleague volunteer programme, supporting local causes close to the hearts of our people.
2021 marked the start of our partnership with anti-poverty charity, The Trussell Trust. Since this time, generous efforts have been made by our teams across the UK to support their local food banks in addition to an annual donation to support their work in challenging the structural issues that lock people in poverty and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
As an Executive Board we personally wanted to get involved in the fundraising for our charities and have committed to undertaking an annual challenge in support of our charity partners. This year Gary, Mark, David, Darren, Jonathan and 8 others of our senior leadership team are taking on the iconic 55m from London to Brighton cycle ride in support of The Trussell Trust, and their powerful campaign.
At Citysprint we passionately support their vision for a UK without the need for food banks. During these challenging times of significant cost inflation it is recognised that any donation, whatever size is extremely generous and increasingly difficult to do so, but is also the very reason that The Trussell Trust need our support now as they continue to help the most vulnerable in our society.
If you can support The Trussell Trust with a donation then thank you in advance. If not then thank you for reading this page and understanding more of the work they do.
