Before all this Corona malarkey, I was meant to be swimming from Penarth to Clevedon to try and raise much needed funds for an amazing charity, Breast Cancer Now. I had been training all year for it but unfortunately we can't launch a support boat due to government restrictions so myself and a few mates are all going to swim the equivalent distance in Canada Lakes (in Creigiau...not sadly not Canada). 

The charity sector have suffered immensely during the outbreak of Covid 19 with revenue generation being cut due to cancelation of all events. We wanted to do something big to help to raise some money for a charity close to our hearts. 

We are really disappointed to not be taking on the actual channel with it's raging currents and surging tides however the lake is just as treacherous with their horny swans and hungry fishermen. Training in lockdown to do this hasn't been ideal as our bath tubs are only so big but the owner assures me there are some down hill sections. 

We are really aware that the financial situation for many is not ideal at present so any funds would be really appreciated.
