Story

On March 13th, 2020, theaters and entertainment venues around the world went dark due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The thought of not being able to produce and perform for the foreseeable future was a tough pill to swallow, especially when combined with the loss of our income. We love what we do and take great pride in the experiences we bring to our audiences, whether it's at a concert hall, theater, on TV, or a movie. Entertainment workers worldwide have now been out of work for one year, and it will be several more months before conditions are safe enough for us to get back to work. The Actors Fund has been a critical lifeline to countless entertainment workers, including thousands in Philadelphia alone. We certainly couldn't have made it this far without their support, and many of us will need their support for the remainder of the crisis.

IATSE Local 8, AEA, AFM Local 77, and SAG-AFTRA present The Blackout Revue: A Virtual Event to Support Entertainment Workers to keep this spirit of performance alive and to raise funds for The Actors Fund as it continues to support us until we are back to work. You can help keep the arts alive today: if you are able, please consider donating!

Thank you for supporting our event!
