Story

A bit about me:

March 2019 -Diagnosed with bowel cancer (stage 3).

April - July 2019 - Chemotherapy.

August 2019 - Tumor removed (lower anterior resection & ileostomy).

December 2019 - we learned the disease has spread to my liver and lungs.

February 2020 - Secondary liver tumor removed (right hemihepatectomy)

September 2020 - Ileostomy reversed and chemotherapy started to treat lung tumors.

In November 2020, I was approached by a friend wanting to do something for charity that was close to my heart . After some research and discussions on who might like to partake in the fundraising we agreed on supporting Bowel Cancer UK and the
Decembeard 2020 campaign.

My friends and family have been incredibly supportive through this time, and it is embodied  in their taking take part in Decembeard 2020 and for which I can't thank them enough.

Please join me in recognizing their support by making a small donation to anyone of the team and in doing so ensuring we are  helping to save lives and improve the quality of life of all those affected by bowel cancer.

Thank you.
