Story

If you know myself and Leigh then you might be aware of the connection between this particular fundraising event and our chosen charity but for those who don’t here is a little snapshot of why we have chosen to undertake this challenge in September.

Having good mental health is something that is close to both our hearts, we have both experienced mental health issues first hand and have been affected by and supported people within our lives that have suffered due to ill mental health.

We have both been working on a project which focuses on developing individuals understanding of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and educational contexts. We both believe that everyone should have the opportunity to develop their understanding of mental health and develop skills to make the workplace and our communities mentally healthier places.

September marks the official launch of B Mindful which is a company that specialises in the delivery of Mental Health First Aid, Health and Wellbeing sessions and Educational Talks tailored to suit the needs of the businesses and educational settings. And we thought what better way to mark this occasion than set ourselves the challenge of completing the 55 mile bike ride from London to Brighton in aide of supporting Mind South East and Central Essex East.

Please dig deep to raise some vital funds for this incredible charity and continue to raise the awareness of mental health.

Thanks in advance
