Matthew was only a day old when we were told that there was something not right with his hearing. After carrying out tests he was diagnosed with Bilateral Moderate Deafness and fitted with hearing aids. He started attending baby sign classes when he was just three months...  He is now four years old and started school. The NDCS has contributed enormously to be aware of Matthew's needs and to make us feel supported at all times. They held our hand when times were tough and we want to give something back and to help families in similar situation.
