We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

'Our Margaret', Sue's mum was a lovely lady who until Dementia struck enjoyed life to the full. The year her great grandson Gabriel was born 2002, she became ill with a lung infection which resulted in her being hospitalised. It was suspected she'd had a number of mini strokes whilst in hospital which led to her developing Dementia. At the time we knew very little about Alzheimer's or Dementia or the effect it would have on all of us. With the help of family and carers mum managed to be independent for a few years until she moved into a nursing home for her own safety, where she lived until her death in August 2012. She was 89. Over those years we had some bad times but thankfully also many good times.

It's so sad to watch someone become an empty shell before your eyes, living but not knowing. This is not an old persons illness, it can affect any age, so all we ask is PLEASE give generously to this charity.  The more money raised gives hope for a breakthrough in curbing and eventually curing the onset of this dreadful illness. Thank you
