The greatest marathon in the world. For the last 85 years, Diabetes UK has been at the forefront of diabetes research. Weve discovered how to put type 2 diabetes into remission. And were working day in, day out to find a cure

Story

It was always my dream to run the London Marathon after I was diagnosed with diabetes. I was given the chance three years ago but as is the way with any health condition, it stopped me. Despite crossing the finish line, I still feel like my diabetes stopped me from achieving my goal: to RUN the London Marathon.

This year I’ll be training harder, working on a nutrition plan and (since the last marathon) using newer technology to help manage my glucose levels. I’ll try my best to not let diabetes stop me this time.

Wish me luck, Luke
