Fundraising for The Salvation Army
Fundraising for The Salvation Army
Every year Salvation Army churches across the United Kingdom work with social services and other organisations to provide Christmas hampers and gifts to families and children in need across the country. Stevenage Salvation Army in one such church and this year the need is greater than ever.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, families are struggling financially and are concerned about the coming months. Parents are worried that they will not be able to give their children a gift on Christmas Day, nor have any way to celebrate the birth of Christ.
We want to ensure that the children in our community who might miss out on Christmas Day will instead have the joy of opening presents
If you are able to make a donation to our appeal, it would be so gratefully received. With your help we will ensure that families in need referred to us this Christmas will receive a food hamper and each child will receive gifts .
