Story
As the country continues to adjust to life in our battle against Covid-19, The Salvation Army continues to support individuals, families and communities in new and resourceful ways. The Salvation Army's greatest strength is its flexible and responsive local presence - right now, each of its 650 church and community centres will be involved in finding creative and effective solutions to existing and new challenges being faced by so many.
Reading Central Salvation Army is no different.
Help us as we continue to be respond to the Coronavirus and the devastating impact it can have. As part of the One Reading Community Hub and as one of The Salvation Army's 22 regional food hubs (across the UK and Republic of Ireland), we are acting to make sure that no-one is left to go hungry. We are supporting local families who have children living with a range of additional needs. We are supporting older people with digital inclusion. We are supporting the families of front line workers where a diagnosis of Covid-19 have been received. We are bridging the gap, forming new partnerships and expanding our network so that wherever help is needed, help is found.
Please give what you can to enable us to continue helping as many people as possible as the effects of the national effort unveil new and challenging needs. Everything you give on this page will the support the work of The Salvation Army in Reading in response to Covid-19 and beyond.
