Story
The nurses, volunteers and supporters are donning their walking boots again this year and would like you to get involved.
What started as a personal challenge for one of our nurses 4 years ago, while also raising funds, has evolved to a yearly remembrance walk.
On Sunday 9th October at 08.00 a small group will start at The Rosemary Foundation Office, Lavant St, Petersfield and follow a circular walking route to Buriton, along some of the South Downs Way before going up past Ditcham school and then heading down towards Ladyholt and Eckinsfield. It will then go past Foxcombe House before rejoining the South Downs Way to head into South Harting. Back to Petersfield via East Harting, Nyewood, and West Harting.
A total distance of approximately 17 miles.
Very kindly, Pete, one of our volunteers will guide the walk.
How can you get involved?
If you would like to join us on all or part of the walk in memory of a loved one, who has been under the care of The Rosemary Foundation, and to raise funds you would be most welcome. You will need to make your own travel/refreshment arrangements. There is parking at The Heath.
If you are unable to join the walk but would like your loved one to journey with us, you are invited to make a donation to dedicate their name, which we will gladly add to our Rosemary Foundation shirts.
