Story
Join our sponsored run at 10 am on 17 May 2020 to raise money for King's College Hospital Charity (including the PRUH) COVID-19 appeal!
The money raised will be used to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of hospital staff during this hideous COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is open to all ages and abilities. Due to current social distancing rules, the run should take place in your own garden or as part of your daily permitted exercise. You can choose your own distance. We suggest 2km for young children and 5 km for adults - it’s up to you to decide. Collectively we would like to clock up 500km, so please let us know your distance. It's up to you whether you walk, run, skip or jump. But you do need to make sure you're wearing the colours of the rainbow!
If you would like to register for this event, please email hello@therainbowrun.co.uk
The Rainbow Run is supported by Kent Cricket. We are very grateful to them for their assistance and commitment to this cause.
The Charity says:
Every step you take and every pound you raise makes a huge difference to our staff on the front line through our Hospital Heroes Appeal. Through the Hospital Heroes Appeal, we'll be supporting our incredible NHS staff by providing care boxes for staff, providing emotional and well-being support, and continuing to purchase much needed equipment for our hospitals.
