We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Following on from his triumphant completion of 2021’s Mission Impossible, Oscar (AKA The Pupster) and his handler are embarking upon an even more ambitious challenge: conquering Bedfordshire’s Twelve Peaks.

Over the course of the summer, in a series of 5-6 mile walks, The Pupster will summit each of the 12 highest mountains in Bedfordshire (plus an extra 3 thrown in for good measure).

Full high altitude protocols will be followed for the highest peaks, which are very fearsome, particularly if you count them in inches, each one of which needs to be walked up.

Please give whatever you can to support Brain Tumour Research in memory of Charlotte Hobbs, a colleague’s dear wife who we tragically lost this year. The Pupster knows that she would have led the way on this daring expedition if she was with us today.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
