Story
The Noonday Project is a music festival intended to bring together communities to hope and imagine for a better, more just future. It is 4 nights of music across two weekends with some incredibly talented artists who share our passion for a more just world.
We are helping to raise money for the life saving work of Tearfund, who work all around the world to help people lift themselves out of poverty. By donating, you will be able to contribute to this! Together, we can bring about a more just world.
The city of Barranquilla hosts more than 15,000 Venezuelan families who have taken refuge in temporary accommodation. Most of them depend on being able to go out to work in order to put food on the table, but due to imposed COVID-19 lockdowns they can now no longer leave their houses. Thankfully, relief agencies such as Tearfund's church partners have delivered food baskets to 600 families with young children. And they will continue to reach out to help the most vulnerable, including the elderly and women and children who are at risk of violence and abuse when confined to their homes. The full impact of coronavirus on communities in poverty is still unknown - please help us as we raise money to support those in Barranquilla and other communities all around the world.
