We are doing our first triathlon in Pendle on 11 May.  We thought it would be a great opportunity to try and raise some money for the Motor Neurone Association as my Uncle Jeff had Motor Neurone Disease (MND).  MND is a progressive disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

MDA offers support information and advice for people living with MND and their families and carers.  They also fund research into the causes and treatment of the disease as currently there is no cure.
