Story

Every Saturday in February from 10am - 3.30pm we welcome you to join us at The Hollies Farmer’s Market in the Greenhouse at Little Budworth! Meet the suppliers, sample some tasty food, and get your weekend off to a great start!

Entry is free, but we will be collecting any donations to
support the work of our amazing local hospice, St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice each day!

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year they supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.

2023 is a special year for St Luke’s, as they mark 35 years of providing care and support to local Cheshire people and their families at a time in their lives when they need it most. They are forever evolving to meet patient’s needs and have recently introduced new services including weekly Dementia Carers Workshop and Community Night-sitting Service. In order for their services to remain free of charge, they rely on the kindness of local people and local businesses to help fund the work they do. Thank you for your support!
