Story
We have chosen to set up a Bliss Sunshine Fund because we want to celebrate the life of our daughter Halle Bojarski-Hobbs. Halle was born 14 weeks early (at 26+1) weighing only 633 grams and had a very difficult journey in her early life. We want to help Bliss make a real difference to the lives of babies born premature or sick.
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible through general fundraising but also by selling a very special book written by Halle’s Great Granny Molly.
In December this year Jack Base (Halle’s Uncle) will be running half a marathon a day, for 12 days of Christmas. Jack will complete the challenge on Christmas Day and totalling 157.2 miles. Halle will be cheering on Uncle Jack every step of the way!!
Great Granny Molly’s book ‘Taco Goes To Paris’ is about a dog called Taco and his trip to Paris with little boy Henry. Grandpa Tim is the driver of this and has kindly arranged for it to be printed and illustrated with all proceeds being donated to Bliss.
Every donation that’s made to The Halle Bojarski-Hobbs's Sunshine Fund celebrates babies making it through a difficult start, as well as bringing Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss is almost entirely reliant on the donations that it receives from people like us and you, so please celebrate Halle Bojarski-Hobbs's life by donating to their Sunshine Fund today and help support other babies born premature or sick.
