Story
Doing the Race for Life in 2014 became personal. At the age of 36, with two young children, I had somehow ended up with a diagnosis of aggressive breast cancer to my name, I was determined that I would do the Race. I might have walked it, but I did it! Together with my amazing team we raised over £2700!
In 2015, after a year of treatment including chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, biological therapy, and in remission but still on the hormone tablets, I will be running the Race - Cancer Free. Again, with my fabulous team and my children. In fact, we signed up for the 2015 race, 5 days after we completed the 2014 race. These ladies rock.
It's thanks to the work that Cancer Research does which has meant that I don't have to be fearful of what the future holds. I can look forward to watching my children Imogen and Felix grow up.
