Story
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to do something big! Something big that will create memories and also something that I can look back on and feel a sense of achievement, not just for myself but for others................
I am very fortunate to have 2 "big" things things in my life that will create memories forever............ my 2 beautiful daughters Jessica and Alice. Our 2 girls mean everything to myself and my wife Joanne and we are very lucky to have 2 very healthy little girls. We also know that there are a lot of children in the North West that are not as fortunate when they enter the world and need special people, spaces and equipment to help them through some difficult first few minutes, hours, days and sometimes weeks. This is why I want to get out and raise some money to ensure that those who are not so fortunate have every opportunity for the best start in life.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Bolton is one of three centers of excellence within Greater Manchester providing specialist care to sick and preterm infants. Their highly skilled professional team provides family centered care to ensure an excellent, positive family experience. The unit provides care for Bolton families as well as serving Greater Manchester and other areas when required.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Royal Bolton hospital is a close to home charity for G2S with a number of events and challenges being entered and tackled successfully to raise money.
Please take some time to view this brief video of my goal -

My goal is to cycle through a group of retailers that support G2S and Product Care in th UK. The journey will start in Leeds and then go to the Wigan Head Office via the Royal Bolton Hospital, to visit the unit for which this ride will raise funds for. The next leg of the journey will go from the Wigan Hub to various retailers, to the G2S Daventry Hub before finishing at the Olympic Park in London. It will take 5 days to travel the 365+ mile journey with a ride of between 70-80 miles a day
I hope that you take the time to look further into the good work that is done at the Royal Bolton Hospital through the website below
