Story
Today mum returned home from hospital (13/12/19) after an incredibly tough 8 months recovering from multiple head injuries sustained when she fell from her horse. Initially we were told to prepare for the worst, so we never anticipated this day ever happening. The odds were all stacked against her. There have been so many people along the way we have to thank , and will be forever grateful to, but as a family we’d like to show particular appreciation and support to the Air Ambulance, who were first at the scene, giving mum that first critical bit of help, which was most definitely crucial to her surviving. I had no idea that the Wiltshire Air Ambulance receives no government funding and is purely charity based. If they don’t receive charitable funds they can't fly ! Thanks to them, we still have our extremely loved mum, wife, step-mum, nanna and mother in law. We cannot thank and praise everyone involved enough.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire and surrounding counties. It needs to raise £3.75m a year to continue saving lives, but is not directly funded by the Government and receives no National Lottery funding, so relies on generous public donations.
