As two unpredictable and turbulent years draw to a close, vulnerable families and individuals have barely had time to recover from the impact of the pandemic, before the onset of Winter and the cost-of-living crisis brings new challenges. With rising food and fuel costs, growing uncertainty and an unstable economy we hope many families, schools, churches, and community groups will take part in the challenge. Funds raised will be used to help provide wrap-around support for people in crisis, for those facing homelessness, or for individuals and families who are facing food or fuel poverty. At The Brick we believe fair pay, affordable bills, enough food to eat and a decent place to live are not luxuries, but they are our rights.
