Story
The Blackbirds Team came together to support Relay For Life Midleton several years ago because Cancer has impacted every one of us in some way. For 2020 we are unable to run our usual fundraising events due to COVID19. Instead, we have created this JustGiving page to raise funds and awareness virtually.
Instead of our annual 24-hour relay in Midleton, our team members have committed to clock up 24km during the month of August - walking, running, cycling, swimming, hopping, skipping or any way! Follow us via live updates on the Midleton Relay For Life Facebook page.

The Irish Cancer Society Relay For Life makes sure that nobody faces cancer alone. Your support will mean cancer patients and their loved ones can access free information and support to help them through their diagnosis and treatment, as well as fund life-saving cancer research happening right here in Ireland.
More people are being diagnosed with cancer today than ever before, but the good news is more people are surviving. Thirty years ago, only 4 out of 10 people survived cancer. Today, thanks to better care, support and treatments, 6 out of 10 will survive.
