Story
Thanks for supporting this epic adventure. Myself and 3 friends have undertaken to row across the Atlantic in December for 4 fantastic Charities. Our aim is to raise £100,000 (£25,000 for each Charity). The row will cover 3000 miles, we will row continuously 2 hours on, 2 hours off (we think!) and hope to complete the crossing in 35 days.
The Norfolk Community Foundation is a really important county initiative. This amazing organisation supports over 2,000 small charitable groups working on the ground, their work touches 1 in 4 people in Norfolk – from those dependent on local practical and social support, to whole communities benefiting from improved buildings and green spaces.
Our training rows are all complete - all off the East coast, with our longest row from Aldeburgh to Wells-next-the-sea (just over 100 NM). The boat has been shipped to the start line in La Gomera and we are due to join it on the 29th November. The race starts on the 12th December.
