There's something for everyone in The Big Golf Race. Choose from the Half Marathon (2 rounds, 36 holes, 13 miles in a day), the Marathon (4 rounds, 72 holes, 26 miles in a day) or even the Ultra Marathon (5.5 rounds, 100 holes, 35 miles in a day).

Story

Prostate Cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing 4 men every 3 hours in the UK.

That's roughly the same time it takes to play a round of golf….quickly"

We need to act faster….to fund research into faster diagnostic tests and more effective treatments, and that’s why we are taking on a Big Golf Day to keep men in the game for longer.

On Friday 31 May, 72 golfers will be aiming to play all 18 holes at Donnington Valley Golf Club in Newbury, Berkshire in under 3 hours.

The money raised by this challenge will help fund research into life-saving treatments and earlier diagnostic tools for prostate cancer as well as provide practical support to men and their families.
