Story
The aim is to complete 72 holes of golf in 1 day. If I hit the ball straight that would mean walking a marathon. I don't even hit putts straight so you may as well double that.
However, the cause is worth it. The numbers below don't lie. This disease has already affected a number of .my friends and this is my way of trying to make sure that its future effects are minimalised.
Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, brothers, partners, grandads, mates, sons and uncles. But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m taking on The Big Golf Race to help raise money and awareness of prostate cancer to keep men in the game for longer. Your donation will help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner. Thank you for your support.
