Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 and in Scotland (SC039332))
There's something for everyone in The Big Golf Race. Choose from the Half Marathon (2 rounds, 36 holes, 13 miles in a day), the Marathon (4 rounds, 72 holes, 26 miles in a day) or even the Ultra Marathon (5.5 rounds, 100 holes, 35 miles in a day).

Story

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, brothers, partners, grandads, mates, sons and uncles. But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m taking on The Big Golf Race to help raise money and awareness of prostate cancer to keep men in the game for longer. Your donation will help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner.

In 2023 I have learnt that my dear Uncle Terry, my Uncle  Harry and my good friend Cliffy have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. All have started their treatment journey with positive thoughts thanks, in part, to the tremendous work of their medical and nursing teams enabled by the knowledge that clinicians and scientists have been able to gain with support from organisations such as Prostate Cancer UK.

I’d be grateful for your support to raise as much money as I can. Thank you for your support.
